This page shows a series of Clovises, in various stages of manufacture. They were made for Mastodon State Historic Site, In Imperial, MO. , in November and December, 2009.

Here's the finished display.

This is Larry's set-up in his basement. The white tarp catches all the debris. When Larry gets done with one of the stages, he gathers the debris from the tarp, then turns the tarp over in preparation for the next stage. He takes pictures of each stage, front and back, some with debitage, and some without. The entire collection was turned over to Mastodon SHS for use in a new exhibit. Notice the stop/clock to the left of Larry's chair. That's to provide accurate times for each individual stage, for each biface.
